Finally Succumbing

Okay, okay, I am finally giving in. I have put it off and put it off, but what it finally comes down to is this: Jason is out of town – has been for 3 weeks already – and I am bored. Seriously bored. Bored enough to start a blog. There will probably be a flurry of activity over the next week or so, and then once he returns home I will drop off the face of the earth. Don’t say I didn’t warn you. Don’t expect daily, or even weekly updates. Don’t expect great looking pictures and clever captions…I don’t do creative. I have a cheap camera, and no expertise, so you’ll just have to take them how they come. Don’t expect me to get into anything you might find interesting or captivating or stimulating by any means. Keep your expectations low, low, and I think I’ll have no problem living up to them. I really don’t know much about how to keep a blog, or why, but I do know I don’t want to be the last person doing it. I’m not that old and out of touch. Yet. And I do have a lot of friends I don’t keep in touch with, so if you are reading this, consider yourself added to that list, because now I don’t need to keep in touch with you either, the guilt is gone. That’s excellent.

Our most recent family picture. We took this in the Fall of 2006, right before we found out our little Sienna was on the way.
