What a big day! Valentine’s day is a little different in our house than in most. We pretty much don’t even celebrate it. We are too busy celebrating Katauna! Katauna turned 8 this year. I can’t believe she is that old. She got the regular 8 year-old gifts like scriptures, a journal, a bank for her money, and a few clothes. She also got a rip-stik. When McKyla asked her what she wanted for her birthday, she sat down and wrote out a list of about 30 items. Mom and Dad got a pretty good chuckle out of it.

Katauna, we are so proud of you and so happy to have you in our family! I can’t believe that until just a few years ago, you were the baby of the family…. and now you are in the middle. You are a great big sister and have done such a great job this year in school and in your responsibilities at home. We are so excited for you to be 8. Love you sweet girl!
