My mom called on Monday and said they had 7 extra tickets to the Ochre Mountain Temple Open House, and would we like to go with them? We asked the kiddos and they all wanted to go. Mom and Dad and Uncle Darren came over to our place around 3:30 and then we headed in to the open house. It took about 20 minutes to get there. This is the first time the kids have been to an open house, and it was pretty neat to be able to tell them all about the temple. McKyla is almost 12 so she was especially interested in the baptismal font. My favorite part was the sealing room. It was neat to be able to watch our kids look into those mirrors and see forever. I count my temple marriage as one of my greatest blessings, and it was fun to talk to the kids about what it means to get married forever. The kids were pretty well behaved through the whole thing, Jace was an angel…Sienna was a little restless, but all in all I was surprised how well she did. Thanks so much Mom and Dad for thinking of us. Thanks Uncle Darren for snapping this photo. You have mad photography skills.Yes, the sun was very bright.
